I am the proud owner and founder of The Dance Fam & Rehab (TDF Rehab), a one-of-a-kind studio that unites dance education and injury rehabilitation under one roof. My vision is rooted in my lifelong passion for movement and my commitment to helping people of all ages move confidently, safely, and joyfully.
I began dancing at just five years old, training extensively in acrobatics, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and musical theatre. I earned top awards and scholarships throughout my competitive career and completed my CDTA Jazz and Ballet examinations (Grades 1–4) with honours. I began teaching at age fifteen, quickly developed a reputation for my supportive teaching style and dedication to helping students grow both technically and personally.
Driven by my deep curiosity about how the body moves and heals, I pursued post-secondary studies in health and rehabilitation. I hold a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College and a Massage Therapy Diploma from the Ontario College of Health & Technology, along with First Responder certification through the Canadian Red Cross and additional certification in Indie Head Massage.
My professional experience includes working with The National Ballet of Canada, Skate Canada, Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Wilfrid Laurier University’s Women’s Varsity Hockey Team, and several multidisciplinary injury clinics throughout the GTA. These experiences deepened my expertise in injury prevention, rehabilitation, performance training, and recovery, all of which now inform the integrated programs offered at The Dance Fam & Rehab.
Through this unique combination of artistry and science, I created a space where dancers, athletes, and everyday movers can thrive. My mission is to empower each individual to reach their full potential in strength, health, and confidence, through movement, education, and community. I am motivated to continue to explore upcoming dance trends and expand my musculoskeletal knowledge through conferences and research to anticipate success for The Dance Fam & Rehab Inc.
